Your Voice Counts says NHS Lewisham CCG

Lewisham residents are invited to help shape the future of the borough’s community-based health and care services at a ‘Your Voice Counts’ event, hosted by NHS Lewisham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Lewisham Council on Saturday 4 July 2015.

The event follows the ‘Quality Summit’ last year where citizens voiced their wishes to be given the facts about their health and care and to be treated as people in their interactions with services.

Building on these themes, the ‘Your Voice Counts’ event is an opportunity for local people to renew discussions on how these expectations can be met in a new way of delivering services in the community via Neighbourhood Care Networks.

Speakers will include Dr Marc Rowland, Chair at NHS Lewisham CCG; Diana Robbins, Governing Body member of NHS Lewisham CCG; Rosemarie Ramsey, Healthwatch Bromley and Lewisham; and a mental health patient carer.

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, Healthwatch Bromley and Lewisham, South London and Maudsley NHS Trust, Community Connections and Lewisham Council will also be represented at the event.

Dr Rowland said:  “We hope that as many people as possible come along to our event as we really want to know what our residents think about health and care in the borough.  This is just one of the ways we can engage with the public to make sure we commission the right services for our community.  We hope this event is as successful as the last and we look forward to hearing what people have to say.”

‘Your Voice Counts’ takes place on Saturday 4 July at Civic Suite, Catford, London SE6 from 10am – 1.30pm.  Lunch and refreshments will be provided.  To register for the event visit or call 020 3049 1980.
