Opportunities to join NHS Lewisham CCG's new Public Reference Group

We are seeking Lewisham members of the public to form our new Public Reference Group (PRG).  The group will support the CCG in ensuring public and patient involvement is at the heart of its commissioning and business functions.

We are responsible for planning, buying and monitoring most health services in Lewisham.  We are committed to involving local people in how we do this We already work with Healthwatch and other partners to check on how we engage with people and we are now recruiting members for a new group, our Public Reference Group (PRG) to work alongside us.

Members of the PRG will work closely with us, taking on the role of critical friends and ensuring that our decision making is open, transparent and in the overall interest of Lewisham people.  We hope to attract members that will reflect Lewisham's diverse community and who are available to attend regular meetings that will take place every two months.  Training will be provided.

To be eligible for a place on the PRG, candidates must live or work in Lewisham and use or have experience of local health services. Successful candidates will receive a small payment for attendance and participation to cover their expenses.

If you are interested and would like to apply to be a member of our PRG, see links below to download the application form and background information.
