On Saturday 9 February Maternity Voices Partnership will be holding an event at PLACE / Ladywell for expectant or new parents that identify as LGBTQI, to share their experiences and help improve maternity care.

The event will run 11:00 – 13:00 and is hosted by Giuseppe Labriola, Head of Midwifery at Lewisham hospital. As well as Toyin Adeyinka, Chair of Maternity Voices Partnership who will also be in attendance with other members of Lewisham MVP, to listen to concerns and share advice. There's no need to book, just come by on the day.

Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP) is a NHS working group. It consists of a team of women and their families, commissioners and providers (midwives and doctors) working together to review and contribute to the development of local maternity care.

Target audience

Mothers, fathers, couples, expectant parents, those self-identifying as LGBTQI.
