Public Reference Group

Public involvement is at the heart of commissioning decisions here at NHS Lewisham CCG. Our Public Reference Group (PRG) is one of the many ways local residents can get involved with the CCG.

There are 13 member of the PRG. To become a member of the PRG you must: Live or work in Lewisham and/or have experience of healthcare services within the borough and/or care for someone who lives in Lewisham.

Working closely with the CCG, the PRG members act as a mediating voice between the public and the CCG.  They do this by meeting regularly and giving their opinion and views to make valuable contributions to help shape health services for people in Lewisham.

Meetings take place monthly and are scheduled to be no longer than three hours. A total of at least five hours commitment per month is expected of all members, this includes meeting attendance, time to read documents in preparation of meetings and other tasks.
