Get involved
Why get involved?
Patient feedback shapes Lewisham’s NHS
Involving patients and the public is a natural part of the way we work in Lewisham. We are committed to putting patients and carers at the centre of all that we do and to involve them in all the different stages of our business: from planning, designing, procuring and monitoring through to delivering new and improved services. We have a
vision for our public engagement and a
Public Engagement Charter which sets out how we work with local people.
Involving you and your family enables us to understand what works and what doesn’t work in our local services. Knowing what you think about our health services in Lewisham is also vital to helping us improve the experience for future patients. You can play an active role in the decisions we make and shape future services.
How to get involved
There are many ways you can get involved. You can do any, or all, of the following:
Supporting everyone to get involved and have their say
Information in different formats
We can provide materials in other languages, braille or easy read and arrange for an interpreter or signer to be available at meetings to support everyone to participate. If you need information in another language or format, or require any other support to get involved please contact us on 0203 049 3208 or lewccg.engagement@nhs.net.
